Rafiqa is an Android app that shares your parent’s location with their own consent, alerts you when they leave a safe zone, and warns you when a fall is detected.
Consent isn’t a detail here, it’s the design’s core: before sharing starts, a screen on your parent’s phone explains exactly what will be shared and with whom, and they approve it. They can turn it off any time, without asking you.
Tracking isn’t limited to one person — siblings can connect with the same family code and see the same information, and fall/SOS alerts go to all of them at once.

Can my parent turn off tracking?
Yes, any time, without asking you first. Rafiqa doesn’t treat this as negotiable: the shared location is your parent’s, and so is the decision. Your panel shows when the last update arrived, so you’ll know if the information has gone stale.
Is location tracked continuously — does it drain the battery?
Location isn’t continuous, it updates at intervals. The server keeps the last known position and a 7-day location history; older points are deleted automatically. In our tests the daily battery impact stays at a few percent.
